Set Up Your AI Workspace
You need two accounts. That is it. In 15 minutes you will have a professional AI setup that handles writing, research, customer replies, and image creation. This guide walks you through exactly what to install and why.
The two tools you need
Claude Pro (AED 73/month) is your primary AI assistant. It handles writing, analysis, research, and complex thinking. The Pro plan gives you access to Projects (your custom workspace), Claude Research (deep multi-source research), and Claude Cowork (working directly inside your files). These three features alone make the upgrade worthwhile for a business like Adam Bike.
Gemini (free) from Google handles image generation. You get over 100 AI-generated images per day at no cost. For product visuals, social media graphics, and lifestyle shots, this is remarkable value.
These two tools cover 90% of what you will use AI for at Adam Bike. Everything else is optional.
Set up Claude Pro
1. Create your account
Go to claude.ai and sign up with your work email. Choose the Pro plan during signup. You can also start on the free plan and upgrade later, but you will hit the usage limit quickly.
2. Download Claude Desktop
Claude Desktop is the app that lives on your computer. It gives you access to Cowork mode, where Claude can read and work inside your folders and files.
- Download from: claude.ai/download
- Available for macOS and Windows
- Takes about 2 minutes to install
3. Understand what Pro includes
The Claude Pro plan gives you access to everything you need:
- Claude Chat: Regular conversations, like having a smart colleague available 24/7
- Claude Projects: A workspace where Claude remembers your business context every session
- Claude Research: Deep research mode that reads dozens of sources and gives you a proper report
- Claude Cowork: Works inside your computer files, reads documents, edits drafts
- Schedule feature: Set recurring tasks that Claude handles automatically on a schedule
The free plan works for basic conversations but does not include Projects or Research. For Adam Bike, the difference is significant.
Set up Gemini
1. Create your Google account (you likely already have one)
2. Go to gemini.google.com
No download required. Works in your browser. If you have a Google Workspace account through Adam Bike, use that.
3. Enable image generation
In a conversation, simply describe what you want and ask Gemini to generate an image. Example: “Generate an image of a Dutch-style step-through bicycle parked at Kite Beach, Dubai, golden hour lighting.”
You get 100+ image generations per day on the free plan. That is more than you will ever need.
Optional power-ups (add these later)
Once you are comfortable with Claude and Gemini, consider these additions:
Canva Pro (AED 55/month): Design tool with AI features built in. Great for creating Instagram posts, stories, and branded graphics. Use Gemini to generate a background image, then bring it into Canva to add text and your logo.
Wispr Flow (AED 55/month): Speak instead of type. Wispr Flow transcribes your voice directly into any text field. Dictate a WhatsApp reply, a product description, or a prompt while you are at the showroom. Works system-wide on Mac.
Granola (AED 51/month): Records and transcribes your meetings. After a supplier call or team meeting, Granola gives you a clean summary with action items. Connects to Claude via MCP (explained in the Workspace section).
Start with just Claude Pro and Gemini. Add the others when you have a specific need.
What you have after setup
- Claude Pro: your thinking and writing partner, available on phone and desktop
- Gemini: your image creation tool, free and fast
- Claude Desktop: installed on your computer, ready for Cowork mode
The next step is teaching Claude everything about Adam Bike. That is the most important thing you will do, and it is covered on the next page.
Try this prompt to test your setup:
Paste this into Claude. If you get a well-written, on-brand response, your setup is working.
